Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use 12 Days of Pet-mas. This statement covers this website.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. You should be able to:

• use every part of the site with a keyboard, starting with a "Skip to main content" link
• use a screen reader to sign up and ask for free items. The calendar doors are read in order, 1 to 12, and each says its date and whether it's open
• zoom up to 200% without text being cut off
• use the site on a phone or tablet, with buttons and links at least 44 pixels high
• turn off the falling snow, shimmer and door animations by switching on "reduce motion" in your device settings

Known issues

• Logos and product images provided by the pet brands may not all have full text descriptions. [Check each brand's assets before launch.]
• Discount codes take you to brand websites, which have their own accessibility statements.
• The daily emails are designed separately. [Add their accessibility checks when they're built.]
